Academic Highlights: A wide range of baccalaureate degrees—103 to be precise—are available at FSU. The student-to-faculty is a 17:1, which translates into somewhat larger class sizes. Roughly one-third of 2022 Florida State grads elected to immediately pursue admission into an advanced degree program; 75% of those who apply receive at least one acceptance. A typical graduating class sees over 100 students accepted into medical schools and over 200 accepted into law schools.

Academic Highlights: UArizona undergrads can choose from over 150 majors, and business/marketing (15%) is the most popular choice with more degrees conferred than any other discipline. Other common pursuits include biology (9%), health professions (9%), and engineering (7%). Majors within business, engineering, and the geosciences all have excellent national reputations. A 15:1 student-to-faculty ratio leads to a mix of class sizes with 33% of classes having an enrollment of under 20 and only 15% possessing 50 or more students.

Professional Outcomes: In recent years, some of the top employers hiring Arizona grads have been Raytheon, Vanguard, PepsiCo, Amazon, KPMG, Goldman Sachs, Intel, Lockheed Martin, Nordstrom, and Texas Instruments, and an astonishing 92% of employers rate Wildcats as coming to their first job with the skills needed to succeed. Recent College of Management grads enjoy a starting salary in excess of $60k, while College of Engineering grads have an average starting salary of $74,000. Many who go on to pursue advanced degrees ultimately do so at UArizona itself.

Academic Highlights: Berklee is the largest independent college of music in the entire world and 60% of total degrees conferred are in the area of visual and performing arts, with computer science (25%), engineering (12%), health professions (2%) and education (1%) next in line. Dance, music, and theater are the three most common areas of concentration. The student-to-faculty ratio was 10:1 and 89% of courses enroll fewer than 20 students.

Academic Highlights: Chapman offers 50 majors in STEM, humanities, communication, the arts, and business. One-third of all degrees earned are in the area of business; the next most pursued are the visual and performing arts (21%), journalism (9%), and psychology (6%). In addition to the famed film program, the school gets acclaim for its innovation and the quality of undergraduate teaching.

Professional Outcomes: The Walt Disney Company, Amazon, Deloitte, Apple, Microsoft, Netflix, Google, and NBCUniversal are the most common employers of Chapman graduates. Students in the Argyros College of Business and Economics earned an average starting salary of $77,164 in 2023. 62% of that cohort had already secured employment by graduation day. Most graduates remain in the state of California, with Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Irvine attracting particularly high numbers of alumni.

Academic Highlights: Undergrads in the Design and Production, Dance, Film, and Drama schools complete BFA degrees; musicians earn a Bachelor of Music degree. This is helped along by the fact that 81% of students take advantage of career services offerings. Academic Highlights: In total, SMU offers 100+ majors and 85 minors. Thanks in part to an 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio, 56% of classes enroll fewer than 20 students. This career-minded student body gravitates toward pre-professional degrees, particularly in business (27%) and engineering (6%). SMU’s Cox School of Business is top-ranked and has especially strong ties to Wall Street. Programs in engineering, sports management, and the performing arts are also very well-regarded.

Professional Highlights: On graduation day, over 66% of recent grads already had their first jobs or graduate school destinations in hand. Six months later, that figure was in the mid-90s. Major corporations employing the greatest number of Mustangs are Lockheed Martin, AT&T, EY, IBM, JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft, Deloitte, American Airlines, Accenture, Oracle, Amazon, and Goldman Sachs. In 2022, the average starting salary was $55k across all majors ($77k for Cox School of Business grads). In a typical year, 25% of seniors elect to immediately pursue an advanced degree.

Academic Highlights: USF has an astounding 200 undergraduate majors and concentration areas available and despite a fairly high 22:1 student-to-faculty ratio, is able to enroll fewer than 20 students in 42% of their course sections. The most popular major is health professions (19%) followed by business (17%), biology (13%), the social sciences (11%), and psychology (8%). An increasingly competitive university, USF’s nursing and psychology programs are top notch and the business, engineering, and computer science majors are great values.

Professional Outcomes: Employers that gobble up significant numbers of University of South Florida alumni include Citi, Moffitt Cancer Center, BayCare Health System, Tampa General Hospital, Raymond James, Centene Corporation, Deloitte, Microsoft, AWS, and Kforce. Therefore it’s little surprise that a study by the Florida Board of Governors revealed that USF is a highly-rated contributor to the local economy, represents excellent value, and facilitates social mobility.

Academic Highlights: IU offers 200+ majors. The university’s 18:1 student-to-faculty ratio is not bad for a school of Indiana’s size, and it does make an effort to keep undergraduate classes on the small side. While there are a number of introductory courses that transpire in giant lecture halls, 37% of all sections contain no more than 19 students. Business/marketing is the most popular major accounting for 30% of the total degrees conferred and biology is second at 9%. IU’s computer science degree program is the school’s third most frequently conferred degree at 8%.

Professional Outcomes: Class of 2022 grads reached their next employment or graduate school destination at a 94% rate within six months of receiving their degrees. The median starting salary for A&S grads was $41,000. In the Kelley School of Business, 97% were placed successfully within six months, and the median starting salary was $67,000. Among the most frequently attended graduate schools by recent grads are Indiana Bloomington (including its own law and medical schools), Purdue, Loyola Chicago, Northwestern, and Columbia.

Academic Highlights: There are 70 majors and programs offered across the Conservatory of Performing Arts, Rowland School of Business and Schools of Arts and Sciences, Communication and Education. With an 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio, the university is able to run 79% of its course sections with under 20 students. 36% of undergraduates earn degrees in the visual and performing arts and another 21% earn degrees in business/marketing.

Professional Outcomes: Graduates of Point Park University tend to stay in Pittsburgh in large numbers. However, sizable pockets of alumni can be found in New York City, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. The companies and organizations employing the greatest number of grads are PNC, UPMC, BNY Mellon, Pittsburgh Public Schools, Allegheny County, Highmark Inc., Allegheny Health Network, and Highmark Health.

Academic Highlights: At Butler, undergrads can select from 85 academic majors. An excellent 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio translates to very few large lecture halls; just 4% of class sections contain more than 50 students. The greatest number of degrees are conferred business (32%), with health professions (10%), journalism (10%), and the social sciences (8%) next in line. Known for the quality of its undergraduate teaching, Butler delivers a quality education without a harrowing admissions process.

Professional Outcomes: With a 98% placement rate for the class of 2022, the vast majority of newly minted grads find employment (66%) or a grad school home (31%). The median starting salary salary is a solid $59,000 and prominent employers of last year’s grads include Walt Disney, EY, Oracle, and Johnson and Johnson. Butler alumni enter all types of graduate institutions including the likes of Vanderbilt, WashU, Brown, UChicago, and UPenn.

Academic Highlights: UCI offers eighty undergrad programs as well as many opportunities for personal connection; 56% of all sections enroll 19 or fewer students and over 60% of students conduct a research project. The most commonly conferred degrees are the social sciences (16%), business (12%), psychology (11%), and biology (9%). The Samueli School of Engineering has a solid reputation as does the Bren School, the only independent computer science school in the UC system. Programs in public health and biological sciences earn very high marks.

Professional Outcomes: Accounting, aerospace, internet and software, K-12 education, real estate, and retail are among the industries attracting the greatest number of Anteaters. Companies employing large numbers of recent grads include Boeing, the Walt Disney Company, Google, EY, and Microsoft. Hundreds of alumni are also found at Kaiser Permanente, Meta, Apple, Edwards Lifesciences, and Deloitte. The median salary is $69,000, with CS grads earning close to $120k right off the bat. UCI has a very strong reputation for premed.

It makes sense that so many flock to the business and engineering schools as they are among the highest-rated undergraduate programs in their respective disciplines. 40% of sections enroll fewer than 20 students, and approximately 20% of students gain research experience.

Professional Outcomes: Upon receiving their diplomas, 56% of Class of 2022 graduates were entering the world of employment while 17% were already accepted into graduate or professional school.  Hordes of Buckeyes can be found at many of the nation’s leading companies. More than 2,000 alumni work for JPMorgan Chase, more than 1,000 are employed by Amazon, and more than 600 work for Google and Microsoft. Professional Outcomes: The majority of graduates stay in the Oklahoma City Area with Dallas, Tulsa, New York City, and Houston next in popularity. Companies that presently employ the greatest number of alumni include Devon Energy, Boeing, MidFirst Bank, INTEGRIS Health, Paycom, the United States Air Force, SSM Health, OU Health, Dell Technologies, and American Fidelity.

Academic Highlights: At SUNY Purchase, which is considered a liberal arts college, you are free to pursue one of 47 majors and 32 minors. No one major is wildly popular at Purchase College; rather there is a fairly even spread of students across psychology (7%), dance (6%), playwriting/screenwriting (6%), drama (4%), fine arts (4%), communications (4%), and painting (4%).

Professional Outcomes: The rate of positive graduate outcomes is a spectacular 92% when measured 8-12 months outside of graduation. 86% have landed employment and 13% are enrolled in graduate school (with some overlap). 22% of 2022 grads work in the field of the arts/entertainment while 24% work in business and 17% work in each of education/human services and public services and law.

Academic Highlights: UT Austin offers over 150 majors, including those at the Cockrell School of Engineering, one of the most heralded undergraduate engineering schools around, and The McCombs School of Business, which dominates in the specialty areas of accounting and marketing. The computer science department is also top-ranked. The elite Plan II Honors Program is one of the best in the country.

The greatest number of degrees conferred are typically in music, political science, biology, psychology, and history. The Conservatory of Music has a worldwide reputation, and programs in the natural sciences are similarly strong, leading to remarkable medical school acceptance rates and a high number of future PhD scientists and researchers.

Professional Outcomes: Within six months, 74% of recent grads found employment, 17% enrolled in graduate school, and just 5% were still seeking employment. Multiple recent grads were hired by Google, Netflix, and Sony Pictures. Over the last few years, multiple students have gone on to pursue advanced degrees at Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Brown, Columbia, Princeton, and the University of Michigan. One-third of all students earn degrees in business administration and management and the next most popular majors are psychology (9%), education (7%), health care administration (5%), and registered nursing (5%).

Professional Outcomes: The bulk of Belhaven alumni remain in the Jackson area, but many settle in Memphis, Atlanta, and Dallas. The largest employers of graduates of this university are the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson Public Schools, the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Trustmark Bank, Memphis-Shelby County Schools, Nissan Motor Corporation, Southern Farm Bureau Life Insurance Company, and the US Army.

Academic Highlights: TCU offers 116 undergraduate majors. The most popular are housed in the Neely School of Business, including the highly-rated BBA in Entrepreneurship. 27% of all degrees conferred in 2022 fell under the business umbrella. The engineering program is also well-regarded. American Airlines, Deloitte, IBM, Lockheed Martin, and Medical City Hospitals employ the greatest number of recent alumni. Further, the average salary was $67,185 and 84% of those surveyed stated that their job related to their field of academic study. More than 100 students work at the NYC Department of Education, Citi, JPMorgan Chase & Co., IBM, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte, EY, Wells Fargo, and PwC.

Academic Highlights: Slippery Rock has 150 undergraduate majors and minors on the table, alongside 40 graduate offerings. With a 20:1 student-to-faculty ratio, classes aren’t small, but the vast majority are medium in size – 73% of sections enroll between 20 and 49 students. Academic Highlights: An undergraduate-only institution, there are 40+ majors to choose from with the most popular being business, English, psychology, political science, economics, studio art, theater, biology, and environmental studies. Known for its superior undergraduate teaching, Skidmore’s average class size is only 16 students, and 98% of sections have fewer than thirty students. The most degrees are conferred in the social sciences (17%), business (14%), visual and performing arts (13%), and biology (12%).

Professional Outcomes: 65% of 2022 grads were employed within six months of completing their degrees and 26% were enrolled in graduate school. The most frequently entered industries were STEM (20%), business (17%), education (16%), health science (9%), and finance (7%). The median starting salary range for Class of 2022 grads was $40,000-$49,000. Fairly large numbers of Skiddies can be found at major corporations including Google, Morgan Stanley, EY, Amazon, JPMorgan Chase, Fidelity Investments, and IBM.

Academic Highlights: WashU admits students into five schools, many of which offer nationally recognized programs: Arts & Sciences, the Olin School of Business, the School of Engineering & Applied Sciences, and the Art of Architecture programs housed within the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. Professional Outcomes: The Class of 2022 sent 52% of grads into the workforce and 28% into graduate and professional schools. Companies employing the highest number of WashU grads feature sought-after employers such as Amazon, Bain, Boeing, Deloitte, Google, IBM, Goldman Sachs, and Microsoft. Of the employed members of the Class of 2022 who reported their starting salaries, 79% made more than $60k. The universities welcoming the largest number of Bears included the prestigious institutions of Caltech, Columbia, Harvard, Penn, Princeton, and Stanford.

Academic Highlights: There are 90 undergraduate majors across three schools: the College of Letters and Science, the College of Engineering, and the College of Creative Studies. The social sciences are the most popular area of study, accounting for 27% of the total degrees conferred. Biology (10%), math (9%), and psychology (9%) are next in popularity. The greatest number of degrees are conferred in business (20%), computer science (12%), engineering (10%), health professions (10%), biology (9%), and social sciences (7%). Rutgers Business School sends many majors to top Wall Street investment banks, and programs in computer science, public health, and criminal justice have a terrific national reputation.

Professional Outcomes: Upon graduation, 82% of Class of 2022 grads had secured a first job or were heading to an advanced degree program. 67% headed directly to the world of employment, where the companies hiring the largest number of grads included Amazon, Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal, and JP Morgan Chase. Investment banks like Goldman Sachs and Citi also employ hundreds of alumni, as do companies like Verizon, Bristol-Meyers Squibb, Novartis, Pfizer, and Google. The median starting salary across all majors was $70,000.

Academic Highlights: Students choose from 70 majors and can add a number of interesting minors like adventure-based learning, coaching, and multimedia authoring. Elon’s 11:1 student-to-faculty ratio leads to an average class size of 20 students; 51% of sections contain fewer than 20 students. The areas in which the greatest number of degrees are conferred are business (29%), journalism/communication (20%), social sciences (8%), the visual and performing arts (6%), and psychology (6%).

Professional Outcomes: Results of a survey administered nine months after graduation found that 96% of the Class of 2022 had found employment, a graduate school, or an internship. Top employers of recent Elon graduates include Bloomberg, Deloitte, EY, Google, Goldman Sachs, Red Ventures, and Wells Fargo. Recent business grads enjoyed a median salary of $61k while communications majors earned $47k. Just under one-quarter of recent grads gained acceptance into graduate/professional school and many remain at Elon.

Academic Highlights: There are 300 majors, minors, and concentrations offered across Montclair State’s 13 colleges as well as 80+ dual degree programs that result in a master’s degree. Professional Outcomes: 20% of recent grads elected to pursue a master’s or other advanced degree soon after graduation. Alumni often stay in Jersey or move to New York City, but Philadelphia, Miami, and California are popular choices as well. Companies employing large numbers of Montclair State alumni include ADP, Prudential Financial, Hackensack Meridian Health, Verizon, Bristol Myers Squibb, JPMorgan Chase, Novartis, NBCUniversal, and Deloitte.

Academic Highlights: Northwestern is home to six undergraduate schools, including Medill, which is widely regarded as one of the country’s best journalism schools. The McCormick School of Engineering also achieves top rankings, along with programs in economics, social policy, and theatre. The social sciences account for the greatest number of degrees conferred (19%), followed by communications/journalism (13%), and engineering (11%). 45% of classes have nine or fewer students enrolled; 78% have fewer than twenty enrollees. 57% of recent grads had the chance to conduct undergraduate research.

Professional Outcomes: Six months after graduating, 69% of the Class of 2022 had found employment and 27% were in graduate school. The four most popular professional fields were consulting (18%), engineering (18%), business/finance (16%), and communications/marketing/media (13%). Employers included the BBC, NBC News, The Washington Post, NPR, Boeing, Google, IBM, Deloitte, PepsiCo, Northrop Grumman, and Goldman Sachs. Across all majors, the average starting salary was $73k. Of those headed straight to graduate school, engineering, medicine, and business were the three most popular areas of concentration.

Academic Highlights: Approximately half of all courses at the University of Alabama contain fewer than 20 students and 17% contain 50 or more; the student-to-faculty ratio is 19:1. The greatest number of undergraduates study business (29%), while other popular majors include engineering (11%), journalism (9%), and the social sciences (9%). The engineering, nursing, accounting, marketing, and economics programs have stellar reputations with prospective employers.

Professional Outcomes: Within six months of graduating, 92% of alumni have already achieved a positive result; 58% go into the working world and one-third enter graduate/professional school. Top employers include Epic. Lockheed Martin, AT&T, Northrop Grumman, EY, and Dell. The average salary for a Class of 2022 grad was $54,290. For grad school, the highest number of students stay at Alabama while many others enroll at Vanderbilt, FSU, and the University of South Carolina.

Academic Highlights: LMU’s 55 majors and 58 minors are taught by faculty heralded for their warmth and accessibility, a sentiment backed by an 11:1 faculty-to-student ratio. Fifty-seven percent of courses enroll 19 or fewer students, and 99% enroll fewer than 39 individuals. The greatest number of degrees conferred in 2022 were in the area of business/marketing (25%), followed by the visual and performing arts (15%), the social sciences (14%), journalism (9%), and psychology (9%).

Professional Outcomes: Just 2% of LMU graduates in 2022 were still looking for work six months after completing their degrees. Seventy-four percent had procured employment, 23% were in graduate school, and 2% were engaged in some type of service program. Companies employing graduates include Northrop Grumman, Google, Netflix, Amazon, NBCUniversal Media, Apple, PwC, Sony Pictures Entertainment, EY, and Salesforce. Recent alumni have gone on to further their education in a range of disciplines at Brown University, Stanford University, NYU, and Georgetown University.

Academic Highlights: Students come to the California Institute of the Arts for very specific reasons. The most commonly pursued majors include animation, interactive technology, video graphics and special effects (28%),  acting (8%), fine/studio arts (8%), music theory and composition (8%), graphic design (8%), and technical theatre/theatre design and technology (8%). Classes are small and personalized instruction is available thanks to a 7:1 student-to-faculty ratio.

Professional Outcomes: Many graduates go on to do freelance work or are self-employed, but large numbers of students are scooped up by the Walt Disney Company, Pixar Animation Studios, Netflix, Apple, Nickelodeon Animation, and DreamWorks Animation. Some also work in the tech industry for the likes of Google and Apple. The vast majority of alumni settle in Los Angeles, but many others travel to New York City and San Francisco.

Academic Highlights: Boasting more than 100 majors, minors, and concentrations, Marymount Manhattan, in typical liberal arts school fashion, has a 9:1 student-to-faculty ratio and enrolls fewer than 20 students in 89% of class sections. The most popular majors are (in order): acting, dance, communications, psychology, the performing arts, cinematography, drama and theatre production, international studies, and arts, entertainment, and media management.

Professional Outcomes: The vast majority of Manhattan Marymount College graduates remain in the New York City area as they venture off and find their next opportunity. California, Florida, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Washington, D.C. also play home to sizable numbers of alumni. Companies employing 10 or more alumni include the New York City Department of Education, Equinox, NBCUniversal, Apple, Compass, Pfizer, and Amazon.

Academic Highlights: With fifty departmental and interdepartmental majors as well as the option to design your own major, MHC students are free to follow their academic passions. 75% of sections contain fewer than twenty students; 12% are single-digit seminar classes. Strong programs are found across a variety of fields, especially in biology, English, and international relations. The greatest number of degrees are awarded in the social sciences (25%), biology (11%), psychology (11%), the visual and performing arts (9%), and natural resources and conservation (6%).

Professional Outcomes: Six months after commencement, 62% of 2022 grads had found employment, 23% had entered graduate/professional school, and 5% had landed fellowships/internships. Education was the most frequently entered field (32%), followed by healthcare (14%) and technology, science, and engineering (12%). Top employers of recent grads included Bank of America, BlackRock, Citigroup, the National Institutes of Health, and Boston Children’s Hospital. Ten years after graduation, 75% of alumnae have enrolled in graduate or professional school, and the college produces an exceptional number of future STEM PhDs.

Academic Highlights: TU allows you to choose from 110+ majors, concentrations, and tracks across a wide array of academic disciplines. A solid 15:1 student-to-faculty ratio allows Towson to keep class sizes reasonable. In fact 35% of class sections enroll fewer than 20 students while just 3% enroll greater than 50. The most popular degrees are in the health professions (14%) and business (13%), with communication (9%), psychology (9%), education (9%), and computer science (9%) next in line.

Professional Outcomes: The Class of 2022 achieved a positive outcome within six months of graduation at a 93% clip and the average starting salary was $55,706. The top employers of this cohort included the likes of Aerotek, the Baltimore Orioles, EY, Johns Hopkins Medicine, Morgan Stanley, PwC, and T. Rowe Price. 20% of recent grads immediately began their pursuit of an advanced degree. Sample schools attended included Duke, Johns Hopkins, Northeastern, Notre Dame, and the University of Maryland.

Academic Highlights: Smith has 50 academic departments and programs. The social sciences are most popular, accounting for 21% of the degrees conferred, with programs in economics and government carrying very strong reputations. Next in line are biology (6%), computer science (5%), English (5%), data science (5%), and engineering science (5%); more than two-fifths of current students are majoring in a STEM field. 19% of undergraduate sections have single-digit enrollments, and 69% of total class sections enroll fewer than 20 students.

Professional Outcomes: Within six months of graduating, 97% of alumnae had found employment. More than 25 alumnae can be found at the US Department of State, Google, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Accenture, Fidelity Investments, Deloitte, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase, and Amazon. Within two years of graduating, 40% of alumni had already entered a graduate program, and within ten years, 70% had earned or were working toward an advanced degree. Many Smith women rise to high ranks —twenty years after graduation, 18% of alumnae report holding a chief executive or other executive-level position.

Academic Highlights: Temple offers 100 undergraduate programs, including those at the well-regarded Fox School of Business. Other programs with strong national reputations include criminal justice, public health, and kinesiology. Hundreds of Owl alumni can be found at big-time companies such as Merck, Comcast, Vanguard, GlaxoSmithKline, Johnson & Johnson, JPMorgan Chase, and Bristol Myers Squib. Within six months of graduating, 91% of Fox School of Business 2021 graduates were employed or had started their own businesses. The median salary for all graduates of that school was $57,000.

Academic Highlights: UNLV allows undergraduates to choose from 76 majors and 70 minors, all with an 18:1 student-to-faculty ratio. In total, 43% of course sections take place in a smaller setting capped at 19 students. The academic area attracting the most attention is business (23%), although psychology (9%), health professions and related programs (8%), the social sciences (7%), homeland security & law enforcement (7%), and the visual and performing arts (6%) are also quite popular.

Professional Outcomes: Remaining in the Las Vegas Area after graduating is the most common move for UNLV alum, but sizable numbers also flock to Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and Dallas. The companies employing the greatest number of alumni are the Clark County School District, MGM Resorts International, Caesars Entertainment, Amazon, Wynn Las Vegas, the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and Resorts World Las Vegas.

Academic Highlights: This midsize university offers a diverse array of majors (80+) and minors (60+), and 30% of Emory students pursue more than one area of study. Over half of Emory’s student body works directly with a faculty member on academic research and 58% of courses have class sizes of under twenty students. Ultimately, the greatest number of students go on to earn degrees in the social sciences (15%), biology (14%), business (14%), health professions (12%), and mathematics (9%).

Professional Outcomes: Shortly after graduation, 66% of 2022 grads were already employed, and 96% had arrived at their next destination. The top employers of recent Emory grads include Deloitte, Epic, ScribeAmerica, Meta, Morgan Stanley, and Cloudmed. Graduates of the Goizueta Business School found strong starting salaries with an average of $81k.  In the last few years, multiple Emory grads/alums received acceptance letters from the following top law schools like Columbia, Berkeley, and Georgetown. Med school acceptances included Duke, Johns Hopkins, and Vanderbilt.

Academic Highlights: This liberal arts school has 90 majors, minors, and pre-professional programs available to students in an academic environment that offers 59% of its courses in a small setting of less than 20 students. In order, the subjects in which the greatest number of degrees were conferred in 2022 are accounting (17%), elementary education (14%), psychology (10%), biology (7%), and engineering (6%).

Professional Outcomes: 84% of the Class of 2022 quickly achieved a positive outcome of either landing a job or enrolling in graduate school. An impressive 92% of those attending graduate school were admitted to their first-or-second-choice school. Fairly large numbers of alumni work at Corewell Health, Spectrum Health, Stryker, Gentex Corporation, MillerKnoll, Plante Morgan, General Motors, and Deloitte.

Academic Highlights: Bennington allows students to design their own course of study and blows through the boundaries of a traditional major. An enviable 9:1 student-to-faculty ratio allows for small class sections. In fact, 63% of courses enroll fewer than 20 students. The most popular majors all fall under the visual arts umbrella (39%). This is followed by English (11%), the social sciences (10%), foreign language (7%), and computer science (5%).

Professional Outcomes: 100% of Bennington students complete at least four internships/research experiences. It’s no wonder that six months after graduation, 93% of grads have found employment or a grad school home. Overall, 76% of alumni are presently working in a field that relates to their area of study. The average starting salary is $45,000 but this increases to $95,000 for those who earn STEM degrees. The top ten grad schools attended include Boston University, Columbia, Harvard, UVM, NYU, and Simmons College.
